KITTO’s from ST NEOT - LISKEARD District
East & West
Wivelshire - BRADDOCK, GORRAN, LINKINHORNE,
LISKEARD,
MAKER, TREWEN, SOUTHILL, ST CLEER, ST IVE, ST NEOT
This
tree is provided to family historians without prejudice. I have constructed
most of my KITTO family trees using the data I have available, and in a few cases it is estimated as the best fit from available
choices. In this tree, several of the links are yet to be proved, so any help
that you can give to confirm any line would be appreciated by me and others
searching in this family. More modern families also need your inputs, because
as I can link modern families to each other, and thus it enables a focus on
their common ancestry. The memories of one branch may not be complete, but yet may fill in gaps of another branch. Only by a
concerted effort can we really define the true lineage. Help me to help you by
sharing what you have. Ken STEWART <

Biog: under school age (6) at Torquay orphanage in
1939, m/to Eileen P DAMSELL b. cc1936 *Richard George Kitto, was born in Brixham,
Devon in 1936. When he was about 7 years old, he was orphaned and the
story we have is as follows: His mother, Daisy Kitto, was married to a sea
captain, name unknown, who after spending time away at sea returned home to
find baby Richard George Kitto. Knowing that the baby was not his, he
reportedly shot his wife, the baby's father (surname Evans) and then
himself. [from Julie KITTO
