John STEWART bp. 1852 Bangor Abbey, Co Down, Irl. (s/o Alexander Stewart & Annabella McRoberts)  Is this him ?

This John STEWART below was an Irishman into Maryport, an iron furnace man with James STEWART, so he had both James STEWART and wife-to-be Sarah Ann HARRISON as the witnesses for his marriage. (They also married 12 Aug 1872 in the same church just two months later.) If it wasn’t for his dates of birth in the census, and father as James STEWART instead of Alexander as his father, this could well be his brother John (1852)

(2) John STEWART b. c1846 Irl. m. 17 Jun 1872 Parish Church, Crosscanonby, Cul, Eng. (widower labourer (29) of Maryport, s/o James STEWART labourer, wit: James STEWART & Sarah Ann HARRISON, M.cert-KS in # 234/1872 Cockermouth, Cul) biog:
